Now that I have been back in Vancouver for a bit and have been reunited with my luggage I thought I would post a few pictures from my trip. As you can see I am not a huge picture-taker, but thought some people would find these three pictures somewhat interesting:
Coolest Bank Logo Ever
I love the logo for Caja Madrid in Spain. Looking at this logo makes me wonder how CIBC managed to create such a brutal logo in their recent redesign exercise.
I guess I shouldn't talk — we get a lot of flak for our logo, but it has been with us since the beginning. If we were to spend the time, effort and money to redesign it I would hope it would look a lot better than the one that CIBC has come up with.
Hotels in Spain
When you stay in a hotel in Spain you have to put your keycard in a slot near the front door. Only your keycard in the holder will turn on the power to your room.
I love this because I always know where my room key is -- they tend to always go missing on me. Saving energy is a bit of an extra plus.
The sink that burns
This was the sink that was in my hotel in London. I stayed in the hotel for five nights and couldn't figure out how you are supposed to wash your hands without burning them. By the end of the stay I was using the tap in the bathtub to wash my hands.
